The coverage for Purchase Protection covers eligible purchases for losses caused by accidental damage or theft, if they occur within 45 days from the date of purchase (as indicated on the store receipt).

Purchase Protection is limited to US$100 per event and US$200 per year. The covered items purchased must be paid in full with your Republic Bank Mastercard® credit card. Specific terms and conditions apply.

Republic Bank Mastercard® Credit Protection covers the outstanding balance of your Republic Bank Mastercard® credit card up to maximum coverage amount. so that your family has one less financial obligation to worry about.

Your monthly premium is based on the outstanding balance on your previous month's Republic Bank Mastercard® credit card statement and your coverage choices, and if your balance is zero, no premiums are charged. You are automatically approved for coverage with no health questions to answer.**

To enroll for this important protection, just complete the Enrollment Form attached to the Certificate of Republic Bank Mastercard® Credit Insurance accompanying this booklet and return it to any Republic Bank branch.

Additional terms that apply to all Republic Bank credit card products
Interest-Free Period You can receive up to 50 days interest-free credit once your credit card balance is paid in full by the payment due date for two consecutive months.
However, there is no interest-free period for cash advances. The specified interest, noted above, is charged on the cash advance amount.

Before visiting our branches, ensure you have the following documents:

Main applicant and each co-applicant on the account

1 valid photographic Identification - Passport, National Identification card or Drivers Permit (if it is expired it is not valid)
Proof of Income e.g. Job letter, copy of contract, most recent payslip
Self employed - up to date Financial Statements/tax returns
Proof of address: utility bill and/or confirmation of address, if utility bill is not in the customer’s name (Click here for the form.)
